2024 Fall Training Schedule for Sudbury

WHMIS 2015 *

First time user: On the bottom left click on “First Time User?” button. Fill out the form and hit submit.

• For the “Desired Username:” field we recommend using your email address to remember for future logins
• For the “Membership #:” field put anything down ex. 1234

Every time that you sign on, you will just need to enter the User Name and Password that you chose for yourself.

Step1: Click on Course Catalogue on the left

Step 2: Click on “View” button to on the right side for English or French courses

Step 3: Click on “View” button next to Canada specific courses

Step 4: Scroll down to the bottom for WHMIS 2015 and Click the “Select” button on the right

Step 5: Click Enrolment Complete – Return to My Current Enrolments to begin your course

Launch the Course

Upon successful completion of a course, click on My Completed Training to print or save your certificate. It may take up to an hour after you have completed the course for it to appear here.

**CALL THE HALL WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE COURSE OR EMAIL A COPY OF YOUR CERTIFICATE**

MOL Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps *

On January 14, 2014, the Ministry of Labour released new training (reg. 297/13) to help protect workers and supervisors on the job. This MANDATORY awareness training is meant to prevent workplace incidents and injuries, by reminding everyone of the roles, rights and responsibilities in the workplace.

TC Energy (Trans Canada Pipe Line) Safety Orientation & Safety Excavation *

Members who wish to be dispatched to TCPL projects must now take the online safety orientation and safety excavation.  Duration: Takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

GROUND DISTURBANCE   *

Members who have their TCPL (Trans Canada Pipeline) need to take their Ground Disturbance as well as per requirements of TCPL. This course is offered online but the cost is to be covered by the member.  We are currently working on a course to offer to the membership.

VALE LEARNING

Members can check on expiry dates for any tickets taken through Vale.  Once on the Vale site click on “Conduct a Training Check” in the top right corner.   Members can also sign up for Vale training through this site as well. If you complete a course contact the hall to update your file.

*When completed, send the certificate of completion to the hall or your qualifications will not be updated.
